Short version: your photos, videos and settings never leave your computer. The only information Import Media Pro sends over the internet is what’s needed to check your license.

What stays on your computer

• Your photos and videos, and every copy the app makes.
• Settings, import history and import reports (stored in your Windows user profile and your chosen folders).
• Trial and license information (stored encrypted for your Windows account).

What is sent, and to whom

When you activate, re-check or deactivate a license, the app sends your license key and your computer’s name to our payment and licensing provider, Lemon Squeezy, over an encrypted connection. The computer name lets you see and manage which computers a key is active on. Lemon Squeezy returns whether the key is valid and the email address it was sold to.

When you buy, Lemon Squeezy processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address and order details so we can provide your license and support.

What we don’t do

• No analytics, tracking or telemetry in the app.
• No uploading of files, file names or folder names.
• We don’t sell or share your information.
